English playwright William Shakespeare was praised last week on the 400th anniversary of his death. The U.K. celebrated his writing career with a fireworks show in Shakespeare’s home town of Stratford-upon-Avon, and by staging many of his plays around the country. He was born in 1564 and died in 1616.
